Job Description

Shift: Third shift / nights
Pay: $20 per hour + shift differential + minor overtime for entry level; $33/hr hard cap for lots of direct experience.

We seek an Envelope Machine Adjuster to set up, operate, and maintain envelope folding machines on third shift. This role keeps production running efficiently while ensuring finished envelopes meet company quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust envelope folding machines between jobs, including changes to envelope sizes, styles, windows, gum, and printing.
• Maintain production speeds to meet or exceed targets while minimizing downtime and maintaining quality.
• Review the previous shift’s work for quality and accuracy, reporting concerns to the supervisor.
• Inspect finished envelopes throughout each job, follow quality control procedures, and make adjustments to correct issues.
• Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform routine maintenance and general repairs as directed.
• Notify the supervisor promptly when equipment requires maintenance or repairs beyond the adjuster’s capabilities.
• Work with other adjusters and operators to meet shift goals and assist Envelope Machine Operators as needed.
• Complete production paperwork and pull required samples.
• Communicate equipment condition, job progress, and relevant updates during shift handoffs.
• Keep machines and surrounding work areas clean and organized.
• Follow company safety policies and operating procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical and Schedule Requirements

• Available to work third shift/nights and overtime as needed.
• Able to stand for most of the shift.
• Able to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements and reach with hands and arms.
• Able to regularly lift up to 75 pounds.
